Ingredients
  1. 6 cups Raspberries (frozen or fresh)
  2. 6 cups sugar
  3. A little bit of water
Instructions
  1. In a large pot, combine the sugar and water and slowly bring to a boil. The water is used only to wet the sugar.
  2. When boiling, add the raspberries and cook for 25 minutes on medium heat. Stir continuously. The jam should have a great consistency, but not too stiff as it will stiffen during cooling.
  3. Store in jars and keep refrigerated.
Notes
  1. You can do the same recipe with strawberries, but it should cook longer (30-35 min) as they contain more water.
  2. You can reduce the amount of sugar, but keep in mind that the jam will not keep as long.
  3. You may can the jam using the usual canning procedures (do not forget to add lemon juice).
